When I booked my dive trip to Con Dao, Vietnam, I was picturing beautiful reefs. And don't get me wrong, they were amazing. But then I discovered something on the Amadive itinerary: **Wreck Diving**. My heart jumped. This wasn't just a typical reef dive; this was adventure into the past.

I'll admit, I felt nervous. Diving a wreck is serious business. But the crew at **Amadive** was fantastic. Their PADI guides provided a detailed safety briefing. We covered safety protocols, the story of the wreck, and what to expect down there. Being in website a small group instantly put me at ease comfortable.

Descending was unforgettable. First, it's a dark shape in the blue, then suddenly it appeared. It is enormous. It's now a bustling new home, covered in corals and teeming with marine life. I spotted giant groupers hiding from inside the cargo hold, and schools of fusiliers hiding in the cracks. That feeling of gliding alongside this giant, silent vessel was hard to describe—eerie, beautiful, and humbling all at once. It's a time capsule on the seabed.

If you're an Open Water diver (or higher) coming to Con Dao and looking for something more the usual reef dive, I urge you this **dive** highly enough.
